Road Closures
A number of roads will be closed within Falmouth for the duration of the festival weekend. Please find details on timings and which roads will be affected below.
Friday 12th June

11am-11pm – Market Street, Church Street & Arwenack Street
Saturday 13th June
9am-6pm – The (Old) High Street
10.30am-11pm – Market Street, Church Street & Arwenack Street

Park & Ride
New for 2026, an official Park & Ride service operates from Falmouth University and University of Exeter’s Penryn Campus (TR10 9FE) throughout the festival weekend.
Hop on the Shanty Shuttle, a double decker bus running a continuous loop to The Moor in Falmouth town centre.
Parking is £6 per day and single bus journeys are £2.80 each way, or £20 for a family day pass (2 adults and up to 3 children). Please note, both the car parking charges and bus fare is payable separately.
Park & Float
Park in the Ponsharden Car Park, and purchase a ticket for the float service from the office. Running every 30 minutes from 9.45am (tides permitting) until 8.45pm on Friday 12th & Saturday 13th and 6pm on Sunday 14th.
Alternatively, you can catch the U1, U2, U3 and U4 First or 69A Go Cornwall bus services from the bus stop outside of McDonalds (all with tap on and tap off payment option). For the return journey it is the Sainsburys bus stop.
The car park will remain open until midnight.
Late Night Ferry to St Mawes
A late night ferry service will be running from Falmouth Prince of Wales Pier to St Mawes on both Friday 12th and Saturday 13th June, giving you the perfect way to extend your festival experience across the water.
Departures from Falmouth Prince of Wales Pier: 18:15, 19:15, 20:15 and 21:15.
Return departures from St Mawes: 18:45, 19:45, 20:45 and 21:45.
Late Night Ferry to Flushing
A late night ferry service will be running from Falmouth Prince of Wales Pier to Flushing on both Friday 12th and Saturday 13th June up until 9pm.
Car parking information
There are several car parks across Falmouth. Find out more about all Council owned car parks here…
Please note: Church St car park and Custom House Quay car park will be CLOSED for the duration of the festival.
Pre-book car parking
Secure off-road parking is available at Falmouth Primary Academy, Jubilee Road, TR11 2BB. The gated car park is open Saturday 10am to 10pm and Sunday 10am to 7pm, priced at £15 per day. Spaces must be booked in advance via the online booking form.
You can also organise parking through JustPark. Browse available spaces, reserve in advance and pay securely online. Spaces are available across all three days of the festival. Please note that some car parks operate on a pay-on-arrival basis rather than pre-payment, so do check the details of your chosen space before you travel.
Accessible Parking
There is disabled parking throughout Falmouth.
Disabled bays are available at the following locations:
– At the bottom of Killigrew St and adjacent to The Moor.
– Grove Place adjacent to Events Square/Discovery Quay (please note this is a short stay car park). There is a changing places facility available on the corner of the car park. The code for this is available by calling the Town Council offices on 01326 315559 (if no one is available to take your call, the code is listed on the answerphone message).
– Maritime Museum car park has a number of disabled bays available.
– Town Quarry with Go Cornwall No.60 shuttle bus which will take you to Prince of Wales Pier approx. every 20 minutes.

Bus
Falmouth is well served by bus, with regular services connecting the town to wider Cornwall as part of the Transport for Cornwall network.
Key routes include:
- 32/32A/32B from Truro (via Carnon Downs/Playing Place)
- 33 from Redruth
- 42 from Camborne (via Stithians/Four Lanes)
- 35A/35/63 from Helson (via Constantine/Gweek)
- 3 from Helston (via Rame)
- 69/69A/69S from Flushing (via Penryn/Mylor Bridge)
Once in town, there are several Falmouth Town Shuttles serving the town:
- 60 (via Church Street, National Maritime Museum & Wood Lane)
- 64/64A (via Swanpool/Golden Bank/Longfield/Acacia Road)
- 65/65A (via Swanvale/Golden Bank/Longfield/Acacia Road)
- 67 Coastal Circular (via National Maritime Museum/Pendennis Point/Gyllyngvase/Swanpool)

Train
Great Western Rail operate high speed services from London Paddington, South Wales and the Cotswolds to Cornwall, including sleeper services from London Paddington.
Cross Country Trains operate services into Cornwall from the Midlands, the North and Scotland.

When arriving by train, change at Truro and take the Maritime Line, a twice hourly rail service between Truro and Falmouth. Journey time is approximately 20 minutes.
Please be aware that Falmouth Town Station will be closed for the duration of the festival. This is due to the Falmouth Docks Station having a longer and therefore safer station platform and better management systems in place for the large number of visitors we expect over the weekend. All train services will terminate at Falmouth Docks Station. When booking, please ensure your ticket is to Falmouth Docks rather than Falmouth Town.
Penmere Station will remain open as normal during the festival.
Coach
National Express serves Falmouth from destinations throughout the UK. Connecting services to Cornwall are available from Bristol, Birmingham and London. To book call 08705 80 80 80.
Car
By Road
The M4, M5 and M6 motorways have made travel to Cornwall simple and straightforward, while within Cornwall itself, the A30 and A38 continue to improve with fast dual carriageways. Follow the M5 to Exeter, and join the A30 to Truro, then follow the signs to Falmouth.

Ferry
Taking the ferry to England has never been easier. There are many ferry companies that operate daily services to the UK from mainland Europe and Ireland and these terminals are within easy reach of the major motorways leading you down to Cornwall.
These include: Stena Line, P&O Ferries, Irish ferries and DFDS Seaways. Travelling across the Channel from France to the UK can take as little time as 35 minutes on the Eurotunnel.
Plymouth is the closest port to Cornwall being just across the River Tamar. Brittany Ferries offer services from Roscoff and Santander into Plymouth.
Local ferries will be operating late night services to St Mawes and Flushing over the festival weekend.
Plane
Newquay Cornwall Airport is one of the fastest growing regional airports in the UK linking Cornwall to major cities across the country as well as internationally.
Car hire is available at Newquay Cornwall Airport through Europcar and Hertz who have offices at the terminal.
