In 2023, an estimated 65,000 visitors descended on the town between Friday and Sunday to enjoy more than 350 hours of free entertainment from 78 groups across multiple venues.
Our sponsors and advertisers play an important part in the festival. With Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival growing at a fast pace, sponsorship and advertising traction continues to grow year on year, benefitting both the town of Falmouth and the businesses involved.

The Greenbank Hotel came aboard in 2020 as a key sponsor with a role focusing on the sustainability element of the festival. They will be helping to aid improved recycling and better waste management facilities over the weekend.
Seasalt Cornwall joined as a main sponsor in 2014. With a Cornish and maritime background, Seasalt falls hand-in-hand with the festivals brand and they have played a big part in the success of Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival over the years. From the quirky reusable cup design, sea shanty merchandise, Seasalt performance stages, group support and all round general support for the festival, their sponsorship continues to maintain a stronghold for the event.
Sharp’s Brewery have joined the festival for the first time this year! Founded in Rock in 1994, Sharp’s bring with them a range of award-winning products, including the UK’s best-selling cask beer, Doom Bar. The festival organisers are thrilled to welcome them on board for 2023.
