RNLI Fish Supper: Night at the Museum
Promising a night of Maritime themed treats, you’ll be greeted by our crew on arrival with a complimentary drink before moving to the Sunley Lecture Theatre to watch the Fisherman’s Friends film.
Following the film you’ll be treated to the sounds of the Bryher Boys, a traditional sea shanty group, as you enjoy your delicious Rick Stein’s fish and chip supper in the main hall of the museum where a hanging flotilla of small boats will be on display over your head.
RNLI Crew members regularly get called away from breakfast, lunch, and dinner to go to sea, in often horrendous conditions, this is your opportunity to see the kit, meet some of the crew and most importantly have fun whilst saving lives at sea.
Events like Fish Supper raise vital funds for our lifesaving work. Last year, our increasingly busy volunteer lifeboat crew and lifeguards aided 41,619 people and saved 329 lives. Without your support our volunteers couldn’t do what they do. They have the dedication and selflessness, but you help provide them the equipment and training they need to save lives.
So, bring your family and friends and meet the crew whilst enjoying a delicious Rick Stein’s fish and chip supper.
Tickets for the event are priced at £25, which includes
•a complimentary drink on arrival,
•a screening of the Fisherman’s Friends Film,
•a delicious Rick Stein’s fish supper,
•a performance from the Bryher Buoys.
A fully licensed bar sponsored by Skinners Brewery will be available on the night.
So, come along and have a whale of a time, we’d be delighted to have you onboard.
